Our Mission:
TSC produces exceptional staged works of early modern and classical theater to enrich the culture of Tulsa and the surrounding area. Our goal is to harness Tulsa’s history and cultural diversity to build a repertory theater company that contributes to the city’s economy, edifies the population, and allows artists of all skill levels to grow in a professional setting.
Who We Are
Shakespeare wrote for the “groundlings”, the common person who paid for the cheap seat. We want to bring the bard down from the lofty perches of academia and scholarly debate and return his works back to the audience he intended through accessible and magical theatrical experiences.
